The Green Waste Club concept has drawn an excellent response from the public, with many thousands of residents subscirbing to the service in the areas where it is available.  Verdant works in partnership with the relevant local authority to collect garden waste and take it for composting, reducing the amount and costs of waste taken to landifll.

Each participating scheme recycles thousands of tonnes of garden waste annually, helping local authority partners improve their recycling rates, reduce waste going to landfill, and contribute to a cleaner, greener local environment.
